The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will be produced by Bolton Amateur Theatre Society chairman Paul Cohen.
It will be performed at Bolton’s Peace Community Theatre.
Taking place on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, at 7.30pm, the show will raise funds for planned upgrades and improvements within the theatre.
The musical follows a group of spelling contestants competing under pressure.
It will be directed by Elliot Hogben, with choreography by Emily Cohen. The cast features current and former CATS Youth Theatre members.
The show mixes humour, music and plenty of unexpected moments. Funds raised from ticket sales will go toward planned theatre upgrades supporting CATS Youth Theatre, as well as societies and dance schools across Bolton and beyond.
