The former Westholme School pupil is starring as princess Jill in the Mother Goose Easter Panto Tour, which began in Northwich on March 21 and reaches theatres across the UK through to Halifax on April 19.
This is off the back of her performance The Memory of Water, the last show of which was on March 14.
Actor and singer, Darren Day, will also feature in the show as the wicked Demon Vanity.
A spokesman for the production said: “Welcome to Goose Farm, where Mother Goose and her silly son Wally are the proud owners of the magical goose, Priscilla.
“Life is golden – until the mysterious Demon Vanity swoops into town with an irresistible offer.
“Tempted with eternal youth and beauty, Mother Goose must decide whether to sell Priscilla in exchange for everlasting good looks. But at what cost?”
Presented by Anton Benson Productions, the team behind Mansfield’s hugely popular annual Easter pantomime, Mother Goose promises another ‘EGGcellent’ family treat, packed with sensational song and dance numbers, dazzling sets, colourful costumes and plenty of laugh-out-loud comedy.
Flanagan stars alongside Darren Day as the wicked Demon Vanity.
Other cast members include Paula Lane, known for her roles in Emmerdale and Coronation Street, though she will only appear as princess Jill for shows in Doncaster on April 9 and Burnley on April 10.
A spokesperson said: “Will Mother Goose fall foul of Demon Vanity’s wicked ways?
“Can Wally win the heart of the kind-hearted farmhand, Jill?
“And will the magical Fairy save the day and return Priscilla to Goose Farm in time for tea?
“Audiences can expect all the traditional pantomime ingredients they’ve come to know, love and expect from the Leeming Street venue, including heroes and villains, romance and rivalry, sparkle and spectacle – all served up with a generous helping of Easter fun and frolics.”
The tour includes stops at venues including the Old Savoy Theatre in Northampton (March 31), New Theatre in Peterborough (April 1), Rhyl Pavilion Theatre (April 4 and 5), Playhouse Whitley Bay (April 6 and 7), Burnley Mechanics (April 10), and Victoria Theatre Halifax (April 19).
A spokesman for the tour said: “Tickets are expected to be in high demand following the latest casting announcement.
“Early booking is strongly advised to secure the best seats for what promises to be a cracking Easter celebration for all ages.”
